Charles Maneri Jr. opened Winemart Discount Wines & Liquors in November 2001 to serve the East End of Long Island. The store, owned and operated by Mr. Maneri and his father, Charles Sr., has been named Dan’s Papers’ “Best of the Best” several times.
“We knew the Riverhead location was a good one,” said Charles Jr., who has over 30 years of experience in the business. “We carry a large selection of local wines, as well as wines from California and elsewhere.”
Winemart’s selection of fine wines and spirits is vast and varied, also including vodka, tequila, gin, scotch, whisky and bourbon. They also carry champagne and sparkling wines, including prosecco. Charles Jr. is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and is always on hand to answer questions or offer suggestions.
Winemart offers free delivery to the entire East End on orders of $100 or more (cash only).
