Built in 1820 and tucked into an unspoiled corner of the East End in the heart of North Fork wine country, the Old Mill Inn continues to delight customers in search of great waterfront dining.

With its focus on fresh, local ingredients and its water views, the restaurant presents some of the North Fork’s best seasonal bounty, including fresh seafood, live lobsters hauled from nearby boats and local oysters that are specially priced at $1 each, served at the bar daily from 3 to 5 p.m.

There is live music every Saturday night and their signature Summer Sunset Dinner and Cruise, which travels the Long Island Sound on Wednesday and Sunday evenings.

They offer a large selection of wines, both local and from abroad, as well as special cocktails unique to the inn.
Specialties of the house include angry mussels with red onion, garlic, chili, tomato and basil; calamari crisped in rice flour with spicy squid ink aioli; steamed lobster; and salmon ceviche.

Sweet endings include “coffee & doughnuts,” cinnamon-dusted ricotta fritters with espresso custard dipping sauce.
