Assemblyman Losquadro moves district office

First-term state Assemblyman Dan Losquadro (R-Shoreham) has moved his district offices from Calverton to Riverhead.

The assemblyman said he moved to 400 West Main Street — which is an office building just west of the Riverhead Free Library — so he could be centrally located in his district.

He also wanted to be near a downtown area and public transportation.

“I am excited about the opening of my new office, and I believe the new location will be more convenient and accessible for constituents across the 1st Assembly District, which includes Brookhaven, Riverhead, Southold and Shelter Island,” he said in a press release issued Monday.

“I believe my office’s new location will help to ensure the residents of the North Fork receive the quality services they deserve,” he added.

Mr. Losquadro also said he hoped the move could help in Riverhead’s downtown revitalization efforts.

“Riverhead is continuing on its successful path of revitalization, and by moving my office to this downtown location, we can be more accessible in this vibrant part of the district,” he said.

The office address is 400 W. Main Street, Suite 201, Riverhead, NY 11901.  He can be reached by phone at 631-727-0204, by fax at 631-727-0426, or email at  [email protected].
