Claire J. Rundquist

Former Cutchogue resident Claire J. Rundquist died Aug. 8 in New Hampshire, where she had lived for 12 years. She was 99.

Born May 6, 1912, in Fairfax, S.C., to Charles and Cammie Jenness, she was a homemaker for most of her adult life.

She enjoyed art and playing the piano, according to family members.

Predeceased by her husband, Gustave, in 1987, she is survived by her daughter, Beverly Carroll Levey, and her son, Marc Levey, both of Meredith, N.H.; her grandson, Robert Levey, of Somersworth, N.H.; her granddaughter, Diana, of San Francisco, Calif.; and her great-grandchildren, Gustave and Duncan.

Visiting hours and a service conducted by the Rev. Wally Robinson of Cutchogue United Methodist Church took place Aug. 11 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Interment was at Cutchogue Cemetery.
