North Fork Optical has been serving the North Fork community for over 30 years. Dr. Eilbert performs exams for eyeglasses and all varieties of contact lenses. He also treats eye problems such as infections, foreign body removal and many eye diseases, and works closely with area specialists on more complex cases. Assistant Jenna Gabelman schedules appointments and assists the doctor by conducting valuable screening tests. In addition, Dr. Eilbert co-manages with specialists in laser vision correction for patients who seek this option.

“We’ve recently moved to a beautiful new office around the corner in the same shopping center,” said optician Brian Gerard, “with new medical equipment” and a soothing, sophisticated color scheme.

Mr. Gerard and office manager and frame stylist Gina Olmsted work closely with patients, giving special attention to helping them look and see their best. North Fork Optical offers a wide array of frames to suit a range of budgets and tastes. They also carry a selection of nonprescription sunglasses.

The goal at North Fork Optical, the owners say, is to “provide patients with the most professional care possible, while still maintaining a neighborhood atmosphere.”

North Fork Optical accepts many vision and health insurance plans, including Davis, VSP, Spectera and Eyemed.
