Andrew Jay Penfield

Andrew Jay Penfield of Southold died Aug. 21 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 58.

He was born June 21, 1953, in Mineola to Roderic and Olive Penfield, and had previously lived in East Hampton. He worked as a foreman in local construction.

Mr. Penfield is survived by his mother and his sister, Susan Einman of Florida. He was predeceased by his father in 2001 and his brother, Roderic, in 1977.

Visiting hours will take place Thursday, Aug. 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Cremation will be private.
