Cutchogue-New Suffolk: North Fork Alliance to present teen movie night Aug. 23

The Conlin family would like to thank everyone who has donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers. A little over 200 phones have been collected and shipped off for recycling in just the last few months. The red collection box will remain in the Cutchogue post office. Donating your old cell phone is great way to help men and women overseas stay in touch with friends and family!

Girl Scout Troop 734 has been busy this summer. Right now, they’re running a school supply drive with dropoff boxes at the Mattituck and Cutchogue libraries, Suffolk County National Bank in Mattituck and the Cutchogue post office. Completing this project will earn the girls their Bronze Award! The girls went to a youth center camp in Riverhead, where they taught the campers how to make paper and look forward to other community projects as they work on earning their Silver Award as Cadets. Best of luck!
