The reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the sicko who shot a swan with a hunting arrow last month and left it for dead has swelled to almost $15,000.

Donations have continued to pour in since news of the swan, which was found July 22 near Indian Island Park, hit the papers and TV news outlets last month, Suffolk County SPCA officials said.

The initial reward of $1,000 is now $14, 750, authorities said.

Also, the growing reward fund related to the case of a wild box turtle found with a nail driven through it on the South Fork has also increased — to a whopping $16,250.

Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, has been saying he is particularly disturbed by the recent pre-meditated acts of abuse against innocent wildlife.

The animals have been recovering at the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center in Hampton Bays.

The turtle was found on July 5th in Sag Harbor.
