Winning Take 5 ticket sold in Greenport

It’s not one of the large multi-million dollar prizes, but one lucky Take Five player who purchased his ticket in Greenport, has walked off $19,370 richer.

Teddy Kujawski, who purchased his winning ticket at the Zaymat Patriot Gas Station on Main Street, won the cash in the Aug. 14 drawing, according to New York State Lottery officials in Albany. Mr. Kujawski will have to travel to Garden City, the nearest lottery customer service center, to claim his prize.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery and  contributed more than $3 billion in funds in 2010-11 to support education in the state, according to officials.
