Cops: Riverhead man arrested for Mattituck break-in

A man from Riverhead was arrested for criminal trespass early Thursday morning after police responded to a possible theft at a business on Sound Avenue in Mattituck.

Police said that Wyatt Duvall, 32, and another suspect fled the area on foot when police arrived on the scene after an alarm at the business was triggered. The other suspect remains at large.

Police said the business has been the victim of several recent thefts of scrap copper.
