Engagements: Brigham-Macheski

Timothy Brigham of Southold has announced the engagement of his daughter, Lauren, to Michael Macheski, son of Richard Macheski and Mary McGillicuddy of Laurel, Md. Ms. Brigham’s mother is the late Barbara Brigham.

Lauren, a Mattituck High School graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in education from St. Joseph’s College and a master’s from Walden University. Michael graduated from DeMatha High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Delaware.

The couple lives in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where they both teach eighth grade at St. James Middle School.

A July 2012 wedding is planned.
