Linda Rodgers

Linda Rodgers of Laurel died at her home Sept. 10. She was 69.

She was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Queens, to Norma and John Marmarellis. A former resident of Queens and South Bound Brook, N. J., she lived on the North Fork for the past 30 years and was a homemaker for most of her adult life.

She is survived by her children Elizabeth Soumas of New Jersey, Daniel Orr of Sayville, David Orr of Laurel and Jacqueline Rodgers of Cutchogue; her sister, Carolyn Quayle of Flushing, Queens; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Orr in 1986.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 11:15 a.m.  at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.
