Minnie C. Wilson of Cutchogue died Sept. 23 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Melville. She was 71.
She was born April 13, 1940, in Emporia, Va., to Edward and Virginia (Easter) Jones and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Cutchogue for many years.
Predeceased by her husband, Roland, she is survived by her sons, Michael, of Medford, and Jeffrey, of Cutchogue; her daughters, Yvonne Crump of Riverhead and Joann Crump of Texas; her sisters, Virgin-Mae Skeeter and Vagerlean Jones, both of Riverhead, Ella Angelakas of Cicero, N.Y., and Peggy Gillus and Martha Holmes, both of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was also predeceased by her brother, James Jones, and her sister Catherine Rankin.
Visiting hours are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a service will be conducted at noon by the Rev. Gillus. Interment will be at Cutchogue Cemetery.
