LIBN: East End biz travel numbers lagging

Despite having a more agricultural and tourism based economy, Long Island’s East End has not been immune from the economic downturn.

Speaking at the LIBN’s East Meets West event at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead this morning, a panel of speakers from the East End opined on the challenges facing the North and South forks, most notably the loss in revenue coming from tourism.
