Photos: ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ cast talks to North Fork students

More than 800 Long Island students interested in careers in fashion merchandising, fashion design, television production, and entrepreneurship — including about 75 from the North Fork —took a field trip to Westhampton Beach High School Thursday to learn about the fashion industry.

Cast members from “Say Yes to the Dress,” a TLC reality show that follows brides-to-be as they search for the perfect wedding gown at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan, were also at the event speaking to students about their career paths and professional experiences. Two local students, Nicole Busso of Southold and Catherine Conelly of Mattituck,  modeled wedding dresses for the event.

Mara Urshel and Ronnie Rothstein, owners of Kleinfeld Bridal and Westhampton Beach residents, helped organize the event with Westhampton Beach High School teacher Amy Demchak.
