Health Beat: New Overeaters Anonymous group starting in Southold

• Overeaters Anonymous is starting a new group, with the first meeting to be held at the manse at First Presbyterian Church in Southold Friday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. Call Jane at 765-8797 or Tracy at 765-8696.

• Diane Radigan is Peconic Landing’s employee of the month for October. Ms. Radigan joined the Peconic Landing staff in 1998, when she assisted prospective residents in choosing decorative options and finishes for their new homes. She also worked with the marketing team in document preparation, administrative functions and pre-closing banking tasks.

After a hiatus of a few years to attend to family matters, Ms. Radigan rejoined the Peconic Landing staff in 2008 as front desk manger, providing a high level of customer service, according to Patricia Lutzky, vice president of resident services. In 2010, Ms. Radigan assumed two new responsibilities — sales and event manager for Brecknock Hall and development and fundraising coordinator for Peconic Landing’s capital campaign fund to help pay for the planned expansion at the Shores.
