False alarm at Chase Bank in Mattituck

A fire truck responded with lights flashing and volunteers in turn-out gear headed inside, but there was no fire at the Chase Bank on Main Road in Mattituck Tuesday afternoon.

Police and firefighters soon discovered that an automatic alarm had mistakenly gone off.
