Today in sports: Tuckers take on motivated Bayport-Blue Point

GARRET MEADE FILE PHOTO | Mattituck senior midfielder Tracy Grim will try to help the Tuckers avenge a 3-0 loss to Bayport-Blue Point in September.

The Mattituck girls soccer team is likely to find a motivated Bayport-Blue Point team today when the teams play in Bayport at 4:30 p.m. After all, the second-place Phantoms (8-4, 8-2 in Suffolk County League VII) are chasing league-leading Center Moriches (7-4, 6-0-4) as the regular season winds down.
