Cops: Man drove through Southold with mixed drink at his side

Stacey G. Williams, 44, of Brooklyn was charged with DWI just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday, after he was stopped for crossing the white line several times while driving west on Route 25 in Southold, according to Southold Town Police.

Police said Mr. Williams had a mixed drink in the car’s center console.

In addition to DWI,he was charged with failure to maintain his lane and having an open container of alcohol in the car.

He was taken to police headquarters and held overnight for arraignment.
