How bad could the weather get tonight?

Already under a high wind warning and a winter weather advisory, the East End will be under a coastal flood advisory starting at 10 p.m. Saturday night.

The nor’easter  packs winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 65, carrying the chance for downed tree limbs and power lines. The National Weather Service forecast calls for rain occasionally mixing with snow before turning to all snow ending early Sunday morning.

Tides are expected to be 2 to 3 feet above normal with minor to moderate beach erosion expected along the North Fork.
