Cops: Southold woman drove while impaired by drugs

A Southold woman was arrested in Cutchogue Friday night after Southold Police said she drove while impaired by drugs.

Janessa Andruski was in possession of a controlled substance when she was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Cutchogue about 7:30 p.m., police said.

Police found the controlled substance after transporting Ms. Andruski, 29, to headquarters for processing, according to the report. She was held overnight for an arraignment.
