Mary Lozowski

Mary Lozowski of Cutchogue and Floral Park died Dec. 16 at her home there. She was 89.

She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Wadowice, Gorne, Poland, to Frank and Anne (Walczak) Kapustka.

Ms. Lozowski had been a seamstress in New York City and was a former resident of the Bronx.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda, of Astoria, Mary, of Mineola, and Dorothy, of Croton-on-Hudson.

The family held private visitation Dec. 20 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated that day at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in Cutchogue by Father Marian Bicz. Interment followed at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, also in Cutchogue.
