Southold police arrest 2 for criminal contempt

Two men involved in separate domestic incidents were arrested by Southold Police this week and charged with violating court orders of protection.

Colin Crowley, 41, of East Marion was arrested at his home on Jan. 17 and charged with a felony count of first-degree criminal contempt plus criminal mischief and harassment. He was held for arraignment.

On Monday, Jan. 16 police arrested David Rivas of Greenport on a misdemeanor count of  second-degree criminal contempt. Police said Mr. Rivas called his ex-girlfriend in violation of a protection order issued in Bronx Supreme Court. He also was held for arraignment.
