East Hampton man arrested on marijuana violation

An East Hampton man was arrested outside a Cutchogue body shop early Saturday for having marijuana, Southold Town police said.

Police were called to Ted’s Auto Body Shop on Main Road just before 10 a.m. for reports of a suspicious vehicle when they found Andre Brevard, 20, in the car’s backseat. He was also found to be in possession of an unspecified quantity of marijuana, police said.

Mr. Brevard was arrested on an unlawful possession of marijuana charge, a violation, and released without bail.
