Two slightly injured in Greenport crash

Two people were treated for minor injuries after a two car accident at the intersection of Route 48 and Moores Lane in Greenport Friday afternoon.

A Honda minivan and a Subaru SUV collided just before 3 p.m., said Greenport Fire Department Chief Ken White. Two people, one from each car, suffered minor injuries. One was taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital, the second treated and released.

Route 48 traffic was diverted onto Moores Lane while while the police investigation continued.
