Annie Kudlinski

Longtime Greenport resident Annie Kudlinski died March 20 in Guilford, Conn., where she had lived for 18 months. She was 92.

She was born Nov. 5, 1919, in Arshamomaque to Stanley and Mary (Krukowska) Barszczewski and attended Arshamomaque and Greenport schools. She married Henry J. Kudlinski on Aug. 25, 1946, at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport.

Ms. Kudlinski worked for Republic Aviation Corporation in Farmingdale during World War II. Family members said she enjoyed birdwatching, knitting and reading.

Predeceased by her husband in 1976, she is survived by her son, Henry Jr.; her siblings, Joseph and Francis Barszczewski, Susan Hallas, Helen Bladzinski and Sophie Coveleski; and two grandchildren.

A service was conducted March 22 at St. Agnes R.C. Church, followed by interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
