Frances B. Wisniewski

Longtime Cutchogue resident Frances B. Wisniewski died March 20 at Westhampton Care Center, where she had lived for three years. She was 89.

She was born May 19, 1922, in Mattituck to Konstanty and Mary Anna Bialeski and worked at Wickham’s Fruit Farm in Cutchogue for 30 years.

Ms. Wisniewski was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in Cutchogue. Family members said she was an avid bingo and card player.

Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Frank, Ms. Wisniewski is survived by her daughters, Lynda Pawloski and Betty Finne; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Helen Sidor, Bertha Kobylenski, Jenny Rysko and Katherine Kujawski, and her brother, Vincent Bialeski.

Visiting hours took place March 23 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home, and a service was held March 24 at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, all in Cutchogue.
