Playing in its first state semifinal, the Riverhead girls basketball team saw its season end Friday in a 67-49 loss to Penfield.

Penfield

The Patriots were led by Margot Hetzke, who scored 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Lucy Covley added 12 points.
