William Falcon

William Falcon died March 11 at the age of 86.

He was born April 12, 1925, in Greenport to Sarah Newins and Burnett Falcon. He served in the U.S. Army and married Daisy Randall on Nov. 12, 1960. They resided in Ridge and raised a son.

Family members said he was hardworking, a loving husband and a wonderful father who always tried to give his family the best.

Predeceased by his wife in February 2010, Mr. Falcon is survived by his son, Walter; his sister, Rosemary Gray; and his brother, George Hatcher.

A service was held March 15 at First Baptist Church of Riverhead, the Rev. Charles Coverdale officiating. Interment was at Washington Memorial Cemetery in Coram. Arrangements were handled by Seay Memorial Chapel in Riverhead.
