Recap: Greenport Village Board adopts $2.8 million budget; sets tax levy at 1.91 percent

The Greenport Village Board held its monthly meeting Monday night in the Third Street Firehouse.

The Village Board voted 4-1 to adopt a $2.8 million budget and set the tax levy at 1.91 percent.

Village Treasurer Charlene Kagel said the increase will bring in about $960,000.
