Photos: Local students learn about Greek mythology

A group of local children between the ages of 8 and 10 learned about Greek mythology during spring break last week thanks to a program at East End Community School of the Arts.

Instructor Tara Toolan of East Marion taught students tales of Greek myth plays by having them read aloud together. The students even created the scenery, constructed masks and wardrobe for the plays.

On Friday they performed “Echo and Narcissus” and “Pandora’s Box” for family members.
