Two suffer minor injuries in head-on car crash in Southold
Two people were treated at area hospitals after a head-on collision early Saturday on Main Road in Southold, town police said.
The accident happened about 12:15 a.m. near the North Fork Animal Hospital, where 67-year-old Judith Mogul of Cutchogue attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot when she struck Carmen Contreras’ car head-on, Southold police said.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries. A passenger in Mr. Contreras’ car, identified by police as Juan Contreras, 24, was no injured.
No criminal charges were filed after the crash.
