Charlotte Zaweski

Charlotte Zaweski died May 18 at her home in Jamesport. She was 80.

She was born in Mattituck Oct. 15, 1931, to Stanley and Mary Sepko. She married Stanley Zaweski on Jan. 18, 1953, at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in Cutchogue.

Ms. Zaweski had been a bookkeeper at Bushwick Commission Co. in Jamesport and later worked as a client services representative at Suffolk County National Bank.

She was a member of the Riverhead Swingers. Family members said she enjoyed golfing and loved taking her kids to the beach.

Predeceased by her son David, Ms. Zaweski is survived by her husband; her son Richard and his wife, Patty, of Centerport; grandchildren David, Kathryn and Michael; and great-grandchildren Emerson and Nolan; her son John and his wife, Tracy, of Hampton Bays, and grandchildren Drew and Laura; and her sisters, Helen Price of Florida and Carol Musnicki of Bridgehampton. She was also predeceased by her brother, Stanley Sepko.

Visiting hours took place May 20 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service was held May 21 at St. Isidore R.C. Church, followed by interment at St. John’s Cemetery, both in Riverhead.
