Greenport Village officials to discuss updated LWRP and Harbor Management Plan
Greenport Village officials are hosting a public informational workshop tonight to discuss the updated Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan and the Harbor Management Plan.
The LWRP will help assist the state and village guide future development in Greenport. While many towns and villages view their LWRPs as guides to how their waterfronts can be used, Greenport’s plan, first completed in 1988 and updated in 1998, covers the entire village, officials said.
Tonight’s meeting is at 5:30 p.m. at the Third Street firehouse.
