Video: Cole Brother’s Circus performs in Greenport

The Cole Brother’s Circus had its final Greenport performance Thursday night on the polo grounds near Greenport High School.

The crowd consisted mainly of excited children waving light-up plastic swords and their parents, sitting in red and yellow bleacher seats underneath the big top, its ceiling decorated like the night sky.

Those with tickets were treated to old fashioned circus performance, complete with a bejeweled ringleader, 10 performing tigers, acrobats, a magic show, clowns, and the circus’s biggest stars — their elephants.
