Boy, 11, revived after being found at bottom of Cutchogue pool

An 11-year-old Brooklyn boy discovered at the bottom of a Cutchogue pool during a Saturday party  was revived by a physician there as a guest, and after he was breathing on his own was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center, Southold police said.

Family members discovered the boy, Vincent Bardouille, in the pool at 320 Broadwaters Road shortly before 3 p.m., police said. He was not breathing and had no pulse when he was pulled from the water.

A guest, Dr. Shahzad Kahn, performed CPR  and by the time police and Cutchogue Fire Department rescue personnel arrived the boy was breathing on his own, according to a report.

He was then taken to Stony Brook by a Suffolk County Police medivac helicopter.
