Cops: Southold woman, 21, violated protection order

Police arrested a Southold woman early Monday morning in Mattituck for violating a court order of protection, according to reports.

Just after midnight, Katelyn Worysz, 21, approached her former boyfriend’s vehicle in a convenience store parking lot on Route 25, police said. She reportedly pulled the man from the car and struck him several times.

Ms. Worysz was arrested for criminal contempt and harassment, police said.
