The Oysterponds Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

According to the agenda, the school board is expected to vote on a resolution to appoint former board member Kathy Syron to a part-time position as the elementary school district’s preschool teacher. Ms. Syron, the PTA co-president, served one term on the Oysterponds Board of Education from 2008-2011. This March she was added to the list of substitute teachers at the school.

In addition, the school board is expected to vote on a $20,000 annual contract with Apple, Inc. The three-year agreement will allow the elementary school district to lease iPads and other related accessories and equipment.
