Early morning DWI arrest in Mattituck

A 35-year-old Mattituck woman was arrested on drunken driving charges in Mattituck early Friday, Southold Town police said.

Erin Schultz was stopped on Route 48 about 12:30 a.m. for an unspecified traffic violation when she was found to be intoxicated, police said.

She was charged with misdemeanor DWI, taken to police headquarters and held for a morning arraignment, police said.
