Anne Marie Kruk Kowalski
Anne (Anna) Marie Kruk Kowalski, loving wife, mother, grandmother, babcia and great-grandmother, age 80, entered her heavenly home on September 7, 2012.
Ms. Kowalski, born in Orient, N.Y., and longtime resident of South Windsor, Conn., had resided in McDonough, Ga., for the last six months.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Anne Marie, and granddaughter Katie Ann. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Adam Kowalski; one sister, Lucy, and one brother, Anthony; her children and their spouses: Ronald and Shelly Kowalski of Concord, Calif., Richard and Ann Kowalski of Sherman, Texas, Sharon and Rodney Baxley of McDonough, Ga., and Edward Kowalski of McDonough, Ga.; 10 grandchildren: Ronnie, Michael, Joseph, Laci, Tyson, Christopher, Andy, Sammie, Matthew and Adam; four great-grandchildren: Finley and Cooper Kirkman and Ryder and Ella Jane Kowalski; and her beloved bichon frise, Buddy.
She was a devoted wife, following her husband for his profession from New York to California and more than eight states and 18 moves in between for 61 years. She was involved in church at St. Francis of Assisi, attending daily mass and being a lector, Eucharistic minister and leader of the rosary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue, N.Y.
