Cops: Greenport woman charged with drunk driving

A Greenport woman was arrested for DWI Friday morning after running a stop sign, Southold police said.

Donna L. Mellas, 52, was pulled over at 11:45 a.m. for failing to stop on Sutton Place in Greenport and found to be intoxicated, police said.

Ms. Mellas was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and held for arraignment, according to a report.
