Cops: Teenager caught stealing in Mattituck

A North Fork teenager was arrested for stealing from 7-Eleven in Mattituck Monday, Southold Town police said in a press release.

George Costello III, 18, of Mattituck was observed stealing an item on video surveillance at about 2:45 p.m.

He was arrested for petit larceny and released on bail for a later court date, according to the report.
