Cutchogue man who led police on chase this summer arrested again on drug charge
The Cutchogue man who led police on a two-mile chase back in July has been arrested again, this time after police found cocaine and two glass pipes in his possession during a traffic stop early Sunday morning, Southold Town police said.
William J. Kennedy, 52, was pulled over shortly before 4 a.m. on Main Road in Cutchogue for failing to signal before making a lane change, police said. After he was stopped, police founds the drugs and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, they said.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The traffic stop that led to Mr. Kennedy’s prior arrest also involved drugs, according to a previous report.
