After 99 minutes of soccer Monday, the Mattituck boys soccer team returns to the field tonight for a chance to advance to the state final four. The Tuckers haven’t made it that far since 2007.

The Tuckers will face off against Section IX champion Spackenkill, a winner Saturday over Blind Brook of Section I. Spackenkill won 4-2 on penalty kicks after the teams played to a scoreless draw after 110 minutes.

Today’s game starts at 5 p.m. at Diamond in the Pines in Coram. Admission is $7.

The winner plays Saturday against unbeaten and top-ranked Livonia at Middletown High School. The state championship game is 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Tuckers won a thriller yesterday afternoon in double overtime on a goal by senior Stephen Urwand. The Tuckers won their first Long Island title since 2010.
