Cops: East Marion man arrested on marijuana warrant

An East Marion wanted by the Southampton Town Justice Court on a warrant for a violation charge of unlawful possession of marijuana was arrested in Peconic Friday afternoon, Southold Police said.

Brendan Vibert, 25, was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 48 and a computer check showed the outstanding warrant, according to police.

After being processed at town police headquarters he was turned over to the state police, according to a report.
