Mattituck teen charged with marijuana possession

An 18-year-old Mattituck man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday night after he was stopped for driving without headlights on Route 25 in Southold at 9:45 p.m, police said.

Zachary Ostroski was found to be in possession of marijuana and marijuana smoking devices, according to the department.

He was issued a field appearance ticket and several traffic tickets and released at the scene, police reported.
