Cops: Orient man charged with cocaine possession

A Orient man pulled over for a traffic violation in Greenport early Saturday morning now faces drug possession charges, Southold Police said.

Graeme Baker, 21, was stopped on Route 25 just before 2:30 a.m. and arrested after an officer discovered he was driving with a suspended license, police said. During the arrest police reported finding two glass vials with what proved to be cocaine, according to a report.

Mr. Baker was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and released on bail for a future court appearance, police said.
