Thomas A. Occhiogrosso

Thomas A. Occhiogrosso of Southold died Jan. 20, 2013. He was 82 years old.

He was born in New York City June 10, 1930, to Giacomo and Antoinette (Chiarelli) Occhiogrosso.

Formerly of Oakdale and Bergen Beach, N.Y., he lived in Southold for over 25 years. Mr. Occhiogrosso had been an aide at Central Islip State Hospital and a member of the road workers union.

Predeceased in 1999 by both his wife, Jacqueline (née Weber), and his son Victor, he is survived by his children Claire, Tommy, Frankie, Paul, Jeannie and Greg; a brother, Joe Occhiogrosso; and 12 grandchildren.

The family received friends Jan. 24 and 25 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 26 at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold. Interment was in St. Patrick R.C. Cemetery.
