Geary B. Stilley

Geary B. Stilley of Greenport died Jan. 12 in Riverhead at age 87.

Born Oct. 31, 1925, in Dunn, N.C., to Effie McKinley and James Barnes, she worked as a home health care aide and was a member of Clinton Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Greenport.

Ms. Stilley is survived by her daughter, Roberta Murray; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Eva Mae Robinson.

Visiting hours will take place Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport, where a service will be held Thursday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m., Ernest Stilley officiating. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park in Mount Sinai.
