Pasquale G. Alesci

Pasquale G. Alesci of Southold died at home Jan. 25 at the age of 87.

He was born in New York City to Carmelo and Mary Alesci on Sept. 14, 1925, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He had been an electrician with the New York City transit system.

Mr. Alesci was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Riverhead and the Southold American Legion. Family members said he enjoyed model airplanes, dancing and taking care of his yard.

Mr. Alesci is survived by his wife, Judith (née Montalvo); his sons, Steven (Janice), of Southold, and David (Diane) and Robert (Maria), both of Nesconset; and seven grandchildren: Matthew, Nicole, Peter, Dana, Michael, Sophia and Stephanie. He was predeceased by his brother, Santo, and sister, Jean DeLuca.

Visiting hours took place Jan. 27 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Services were held Jan. 28 at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
